Position Overview

Pacha New York is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented seasonal Barback to support the bar team in delivering fast, efficient service and an exceptional guest experience.

This role is responsible for bar setup, stocking, and breakdown, ensuring bartenders are fully equipped throughout events while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Working closely with the bar team, you will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support bartenders by ensuring all tools, glassware, garnishes, and supplies are readily available.

• Set up bars before events, including stocking beverages, ice, and service essentials.

• Monitor and replenish inventory during events, ensuring continuous service flow.

• Prepare batched cocktails and garnishes as required.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of bar and storage areas during and after events.

• Assist with waste management, ware-washing, and overall hygiene standards.

• Support breakdown and post-event clean-up operations.

• Receive and organise deliveries of alcohol and dry goods.

• Conduct weekly inventory checks and stock control.

• Clean and sanitise equipment including refrigeration units, ice machines, and draft systems.

• Ensure compliance with NYC DOH regulations and safety standards.

• Assist with general operational tasks within the beverage department.

Salary Range: USD 11.35 per hour + tips (minimum USD 17/hr)
