Pacha New York is a large-scale music and nightlife venue located in Brooklyn, presenting global electronic artists, live performances, and cultural programming. Position Overview

Pacha New York is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and elevate the day-to-day operational performance of a high-energy, luxury hospitality and entertainment venue in New York. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, late-night environments and can drive operational excellence, financial performance, compliance, and exceptional guest experiences.

Defining and directing the company’s operational strategy, providing strong leadership to a large team while establishing and embedding a culture of operational excellence. Overseeing full-cycle implementation, including rollout, team training, go-live execution, performance monitoring, post-implementation analysis, and continuous optimization.

The Operations Manager will work closely with senior leadership to ensure seamless service delivery, optimise efficiencies, and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end venue operations across BOH, FOH, Guest Experience, Security, Technical, accounting reconciliation and Support functions, ensuring seamless execution during peak trading and live events.

• Act as senior operational lead on-site, driving readiness, rapid issue resolution, and adherence to SOPs and brand standards.

• Drive profitability through labour optimisation, cost control, P&L oversight, KPI tracking, forecasting, and inventory management.

• Enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and continuously improve operational performance.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, overseeing service recovery and maintaining strong floor presence during trading hours.

• Lead and develop department heads and teams, ensuring accountability, performance management, and a high-performance culture.

• Ensure full compliance with New York regulations, including health & safety, liquor licensing, labour laws, fire and crowd control, and incident management.

• Oversee operational planning for large-scale events and artist performances, ensuring venue and technical readiness.

• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and late nights as required.

• Oversee and deliver comprehensive operational reporting to support transparent, consistent, and effective communication with executive leadership.

Salary Range: USD 65,000 – 75,000 per year (Final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity)

Minimum requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of senior operational management experience in hospitality, nightlife, luxury hotels, or large-scale entertainment venues.

• Strong understanding of high-volume, late-night venue operations.

• Proven experience managing multi-department teams in fast-paced environments.

• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability.

• In-depth knowledge of New York health, safety, and licensing regulations.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Calm under pressure with the ability to make decisive operational decisions.

• Tech-savvy with experience in POS systems, reporting platforms, and workforce management tools.

• Extensive expertise in the contemporary nightlife and entertainment sector, with a deep understanding of its commercial dynamics and growth potential within the NYC market.

• Highly developed analytical and operational acumen, with proven ability to make impactful real-time strategic decisions that elevate the customer experience and maximize revenue performance.
